Biological Literacy Reflection (MS-Word file)

General Biology, BI 101 covers the topics of diversity, ecology, and environmental science. The format is a mixture of lecture, laboratories & recitations, assigned readings, and homework projects. The two weekly lectures are 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in 26 Milam Hall (Milam Auditorium, West entrance). Laboratory meets each week for one hour and 50 minutes in 129 WNGR (Weniger Hall) and recitation meets each week for 50 minutes in 127 WNGR (Weniger Hall).

All lectures, labs, and recitations meet the first week of the term (week of September 28).

The Biology 101-09 Laboratory Activity Manual is required for all Laboratory and Recitation activities beginning the second week of classes, the week of October 5. The first week's activities are handed out in the activities.

Need to change laboratory/recitaion sections? OSU now has an online waiting list system. Students can not attend a laboratory/recitation section they are not enrolled in.

Much of the information about this course is also supplied as part of the activity manual purchased at the OSU Bookstore.

Biology 101 does not have class on Monday at 6pm. This time slot is for the two scheduled evening exams.

Do not print these MS-Word Docs.,
they will be handed out in class.
