Oregon State University Center for Gene Research and Biotechnology has over eighty faculty from seventeen departments including fourteen from the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology. The Center's Central Service Laboratory has equipment and technical expertise for peptide sequencing, oligonucleotide synthesis, and computer-assisted analysis of protein and nucleic acid sequences.
