Graduation Information for College of Science Students

Students who have filed for graduation for summer term may "walk" at graduation, but will not receive their degree until all requirements have been met.
This is the process for applying for graduation:
- View your transcripts using Student Online Services:
http://oregonstate.edu/students/onlineservices/ to confirm that you have all majors, minors, options, Honors College, etc. declared officially. - File for graduation with the Registrar's Office. The application is available in the Registrars Office (hard copy only). You should file three terms before your expected term of graduation (normally fall of your senior year), but make sure you check the graduation deadlines.
- Filing for graduation will generate a degree audit of the OSU, Baccalaureate Core and major requirements on or about the dates listed above under graduation deadlines. Once completed, you may view your degree audit online by going to Student Online Services, then Degree audit, then View Previous Evaluation, and click on the most recent one. Check with your advisor if you have any questions about your degee audit. Minor requirements and double degree or dual major requirements must be checked by those departments.
- Students completing more than one degree and/or major must file a graduation application for each degree or major. See double degree and dual major information. Students completing the International Degree should also meet with Mary Ann Matzke (737-4811). Students completing an Honors Degree should also contact the University Honors College.
Please notify the Registrar's Office Degree Clearance Specialist of any changes to your academic program or graduation date as soon as possible, and meet with your advisor often to verify degree requirements are met.
