The Loyd F. Carter Awards

Every year, since 1946, the Loyd F. Carter Award is presented to two outstanding College of Science faculty members, one for undergraduate teaching and one for graduate teaching. The aim of the award is to encourage and recognize effective and inspirational teaching. All faculty who worked with graduate or undergraduate students in the 2007-2008 school year are eligible and listed below according to their respective department. The final selection is based solely on student nominations. Your serious and thoughtful evaluation is earnestly requested.

Instructions

Carefully follow the instructions listed on the left side of the ballot below. There are four steps to complete this ballot: 1) Select your class standing, 2) Check off the names of each instructor you've worked with or taken classes with in the 2007-2008 school year. 3) Choose three instructors who you think are deserving of this award and rank them as first, second, and third. 4) Submit your ballot.
