Astronomy Courses
- There are no upper-division astronomy courses, and just one of the lower-division courses is taught regularly, PH 104 Descriptive Astronomy. Visit the website for the winter 2012 offering.
- For radio astronomy, a PH405 Reading and Conference course for winter 2012 is currently being taught by W. Hetherington, and it is based on the Essential Radio Astronomy introductory graduate level course provided by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory.
- A related reading and conference course on orbital physics will be offered in spring 2012.
Electrodynamics and Electronics Courses
- PH411, 412 and 415, all of which focus on experimental physics, electromagnetic principles of electronic circuits, digital electronics, computer interfaces and digital signal processing.
- PH431 and the PH631-3 series present the fundamental aspects of electrodynamics.
Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy
- PH585
