tudents in my lab work on projects relating to terrestrial ecosystem ecology or watershed biogeochemistry. Many students study fundamental soil processes using the international DIRT (Detrital Input and Removal Treatments) network. Much of our research is conducted at the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, but we also have access to experiments, such as the Terracosm soil warming experiment at the Corvallis EPA lab, closer to home.
