MTH 306. MATRIX AND POWER SERIES METHODS (4).
Introduction to matrix algebra, determinants, systematic solution to linear systems, eigenvalue problems, convergence and divergence of series of functions, Taylor series expansions of basic functions used in calculus, convergence tests for power series, error estimates for truncated series used in practical approximations. PREREQS: MTH 252.
