Suggested homework problems are given in your text at the end of each lesson. You are expected to be able to solve ALL the suggested problems at the end of each lesson. Really! For many of you this means actually solving most, if not all, of the suggested problems. Some problems are nearly the same as others. If you recognize such a group of problems and have solved a representative one you may reasonably decide to skip the others (knowing you could solve them if you needed to). It is your responsibility to use good judgment here. I strongly suggest that you start working suggested homework problems on the same day we start the corresponding lesson in class. To help you get started working problems, the homework table contains lists of selections from the Suggested Problems that are reasonably representative and that you might want to try first, before moving onto other problems.
