We are developing an advanced lab that makes use of Bill Warren's old NMR system. We operate at 31 MHz which means a B-field of about 7272.5 Gauss. We put a little ferric chloride in the water to help shorten T1. 10^20 ions per cc gives T1 = 1 ms. 10^18 ions per cc gives T1 = 150 ms.
