I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in David Lytle's lab at Oregon State University. My research is on the landscape genetics of several aquatic insect species in the Madrean Sky Islands of southeastern Arizona.
I did my Ph.D. work with Michael Blouin at Oregon State University. For my dissertation research, I conducted several studies involving the population genetics of ranid frogs in the Pacific Northwest.
Being a naturalist at heart, I am fascinated by the complex interactions of ecological and evolutionary processes in nature. This fascination and my fondness for wild places compelled me to pursue a career as a biologist.
In addition to studying natural history and biology, I am into hiking, drawing, photography, and reading.
